Brotherly love

When we were staying at my parents’ house a couple of weeks ago, the boys went out to play in the garden after tea. At home they have to wear shoes in the garden as we occasionally find nails and glass in the lawn (one long sharp nail actually went through the back of Philip’s sandal, missing his heel by less than a centimetre!).

Anyway the point of all that is that Andrew had already put on his sandals and gone out and we heard Philip calling for someone to put on his sandals “Shuzon!” He’s well trained, and wouldn’t go out without them! Since his parents and grandparents were still eating, almost as a joke I called to Andrew, “Hey Andrew can you put Philip’s sandals on for him?” … assuming he would ignore me. But bless him he went to his brother and actually tried to put his sandals on. Even more amazing, Philip cooperated! I snapped a picture quick – it was so cute! And he did really quite a good job. Sweet boy, lovely brothers.
